This is an original fuel tank for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It fits inside the sub base under a 3hp Z engine and measures about 4 x 10 x 17 1/2 inches. It has the original fittings on it and is in very good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has minimal rust on the bottom and the inside is very dry with some fibrous dusty material that needs to be blown out. This gas tank looks to be ready to be used under an engine after some minimal cleaning and possibly a preventative coat of sealer in the inside. The pictures tell the story. These original gas tanks are quite tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one.
