This is an old brass gear pump that would work great to circulate cooling water on a hit and miss gas engine. It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see other than needing some new packing under the nut. It has 3/8 npt threads that are in great shape. It stands about 4 inches tall and mounts with two holes 1 3/4 inches apart on center. It is about 6 inches long with the drive coupler and the drive shaft is 9/16 diameter to fit the pulley of your choice. It has brass gears and turns nice and smoothly as it should with some bearing wear but should be quite servicable with some new packing. After that attention it should be ready to be used on an engine or put on the shelf awaiting your next project. The pictures tell the story. These water pumps, especially the brass ones, are extremely hard to find in the wild or even in the collector network so if you need one here is your chance. It will likely be a long time before another one comes along! I can be reached at 262 573 193 1 if you’d like to talk about it.
