This is a fairly hard to find cast iron crankguard or fender for a 1 1/2hp Simplicity hit and miss gas engine made by Turner Manufacturing Company. It is a brand new faithful reproduction. It is cast iron and measures about 6 1/2 inches wide at the outer points of the flange and about 12 1/2 inches long overall. It is part number U5.. It will need 3 holes drilled to mount it to the engine as these were done in somewhat arbitrary locations at the factory but is otherwise ready to be used on an engine or put on the shelf for a spare. If you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up! Let the pictures be your guide. You won’t be disappointed in any way.
