This is a real nice original cast iron pulley for a Monitor hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a 6 inch face and is 6 inches in diameter. It mounts to a 5-spoke flywheel with two holes 3 3/4 inches apart on center and those holes are 6 1/4 inches apart on center to the far one. It likely fits on several sizes of Monitor engines so please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It will fit on any engine with an adapter plate. It would look great on an unrestored engine! These original cast iron pulleys are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. This one is ready to be put to work on an engine or put into your inventory for a spare. The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way. This is a NOS, new old stock cast iron piston for a Monitor VJ pumping hit and miss gas engine. It may fit other models so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It measures about 4 3/16 inches long. It is 0.010″ larger than 3 1/2″ in diameter and is stamped from the factory as such as can be seen. The wrist pin is about 2 1/2 on center from the top of the piston. It is in excellent unused condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to go to work! It came from the estate of an early engine collector and I’m pretty sure he got it directly from Monitor or a local hardware store or implement dealer when they cleaned out shop decades ago. If yours is broken, missing, or repaired here’s a chance at a new one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. It measures about 3 3/4 inches in diameter and has a 1 bore. It is part number GA26 and is in excellent slightly used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to go to work! It has a few very minor chipped tooth edges which will affect nothing. If yours is broken, missing, or repaired here’s a chance at an extremely nice one. This Monitor BJ 3hp, 450rpm, Sn 48563 engine was restored many years ago and has been inside since. It has the pump jack and pump, pump is a F&W Hoosier. On a very sturdy cart and seldom seen clutch all in working condition with oiler and greasers as needed. It is not stuck and i have not started it but may need the tank cleaned and could use a nice clean up. This engine comes from a deceased friend and also will list the other Monitor engine a Vj.
