This is a real nice older restoration Delco 850 32 volt light plant. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of other than some fiberglass type repairs on the ends of the gas tank. It turns over nicely with excellent compression and I’m sure it wouldn’t take much to make noise as it was a running engine not long ago! It has the coil cover and also the cylinder head cover as can be seen. It also has the original Delco gauge. This would be a great addition to your old engine collection or display. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. This is a real nice original belt driven generator that would be a great display running with your hit and miss gas engine! I believe it was made by Fairbanks Morse and is 32V DC but I have no way to tell other than it was with a Fairbanks Morse engine that matched it at the sale where I bought it. If you can educate me please do! The 3 wires have the original aluminum wrap labels on them but I don’t know what they mean. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It turns over nicely with no noticeable bearing wear. The brushes and all of the internals look to be in good shape and there is very little noticeable wear on the armature. I believe it is ready to be used again. It measures about 11 inches in diameter so it is a nice, manageable size. It has a v-belt pulley on it but this could easily be removed to put on a flat belt pulley. I can deliver this for free (or a cold beverage) to Coolspring, PA, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. It turns over nicely with no noticeable bearing wear. The brushes and all of the internals look to be in good shape and there is very little noticeable wear on the armature. I believe it is ready to be used to light up your display once again! It measures about 10 inches in diameter so it is a nice, manageable size. It has a v-belt pulley on it but this could easily be removed to put on a flat belt pulley. I can deliver this for free (or a cold beverage) to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, next year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. Generator for vintage auto, tractor, hit miss engine. Cast iron and heavy. 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ bolt pattern. One terminal must have a loose wire because when I took the cover off and put hooked up a battery to the brushes it worked. Probably just needs taken apart and cleaned. Was told was probably used on a vintage auto to generate power for lights but I have no idea. No breaks, crack, or welds. I reserve the right to end item early for local sale. Nice old Apple Dynamo in working condition. Length with shaft 9″ and 5″ in diameter and weighs over 21 pounds. Completely apart and new wires attached at the fields with new brushes fitted, makes electricity counter clockwise rotation from the shaft end. The shaft size is 1/2″ and the mounting holes are 4 1/8 x 2″ on centers. Rotated with electric drill and makes over 10 volts. Two small things i must mention a small nail for the lid hinge and a small amount of play on the brass out put shaft which does not affect the function. I do not know what the Dynamo was made for but probably was used in several applications years ago. I would think it would date to the 20/30′s. Here is a very nice and rare Webster R2 flat bar friction magneto. It is a very nice unit with original paint. I think the was originally meant to be driven off an old gas engine and meant to be used to make power for the ignition system. An engine cannot start off a generator like this but it can take the place of batteries once the engine is running. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. Made in Tiffin Ohio. Would look excellent on your engine or in you man cave! About 10″ long, 4-5/8″ wide, 6 tall. The bearings have a small amount of wear. I hooked up to a 12 volt battery and it spun right away just like it should. This is a heavy item, it weighs 14 lbs before any box and packing material. I try to list items very accurately but my opinions on condition may differ from yours. This item in a complex antique electronic mechanical unit. Please don’t act like a cave man and send me emails grunting “my friend mag guy says need rebuilt you pay he bill” or “I took apart now now it no work I send back”. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description.
