This is a very hard to find original steel crankguard or fender for a 6hp Fairbanks Morse Z flywheel type gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind as can be seen. It measures about 7 x 22 inches and sits in the back lip of the crankcase and mounts with one hole to the tab on the back of the hopper. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It has some very minor separation on the left end of the mounting lip as I’ve shown but this will not hinder its performance at all. These original crankguards are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they’re so often missing so if you need one here’s your chance! The pictures tell the story. This is an original cast iron crankguard and hinge for a John Lauson or Alpha DeLaval Model W 2 1/2hp hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The crankguard is part number WA125B. The assembly is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and the guard hinges just as it should. The assembly is ready to be used on an engine! These original Lauson parts are exceedingly tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! This is a rather hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a small Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. It should fit the 1 1/2hp engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is bracket number 303M1 and seems to be in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It mounts with two holes 1 3/4 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 1 1/2 x 2 inch square hole pattern. The movable electrode moves nicely with very little wear and the point is in great shape. It needs a stationary electrode, tension spring and an advance/retard lever tab to make it complete. These are available from several of the hobby suppliers quite inexpensively. If you need a Hercules/Economy ignitor bracket for any reason here is a pretty nice one. The pictures tell the story. This is a cast iron magneto mounting bracket for an Ottawa hit and miss gas engine. It is in great condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of but is missing the advance/retard pin. The magneto mounts with two holes 1 1/8 inches apart on center and the mounting holes for the studs on the engine are 1 3/4 inches apart on center. These Ottawa parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and these brackets are often broken or repaired! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one this may be your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one!
