Vintage Maytag Engine Model 72 Motor 1946 Twin Hit Miss Runs Great! Here is a nice original Maytag 72 Twin Cylinder. I believe this one was made in 1946. This starts easy and runs great. It has the Eisemann magneto. Mounted to a custom wood skid. These Maytags can be a bit temperamental at times, but once you get it set right for starting, it will sit and run nicely. This is missing the air cap, but the “farmer fix” from years ago actually seems to work fine. It also has a large dent in the flywheel, but this doesn’t affect it running much. It is also missing a couple bolts on one cylinder, looks like one is broken off. I have decided to leave this engine in it’s “work clothes”, as far as refinishing. You can choose wether you’d like to restore it further or run it as it is. I own several of these Maytags in my collection, and they are a great hobby. This would look great at an engine show, or just have it to teach the grandkids about history! Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions! Vintage Long Frame Maytag Engine Model 92 Motor 1928 Single Hit Miss Runs! Here is a nice original Maytag 92. One of the best running 92′s that I’ve owned. It does have a new spark plug. These Maytags can be a bit temperamental at times, but once you get the carb set right for starting, it will start and run nice. Someone did repair one of the broken mounting lugs, but if you ask me they did a pretty nice job. The flywheel also seems to have been repaired. I’m not sure why or how, but I think it was in the area of the serial number, so I can’t date this one. I have decided to leave this in it’s “work clothes”. You can choose wether you’d like to restore it further. It does have an older restoration and I’d say it’s show ready. I own several of these Maytags in my collection, and they are a great hobby. This would look great at an engine show, or just have it to teach the grandkids about history! Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions! Vintage Early Maytag Engine Model 92 Motor 1928 Single Hit Miss Runs! Here is a nice original Maytag 92. I cant quite read all the serial number on this one. It does have a new spark plug. These Maytags can be a bit temperamental at times, but once you get the carb set right for starting, it will start and run. This one likes some choke (by holding a finger over the air intake for the first few kicks). It also likes to run with the carb pointer mostly open. The carb could probably use a rebuild at some point. The pulley is a bit bent. I have decided to leave this in it’s “work clothes”. You can choose wether you’d like to restore it further. I own several of these Maytags in my collection, and they are a great hobby. This would look great at an engine show, or just have it to teach the grandkids about history! Vintage Maytag Engine Model 72 Motor 1940 Twin Hit Miss Runs Great! Here is a nice original Maytag 72 Twin Cylinder. I believe this one was made in 1940. It has the Eisemann magneto. These Maytags can be a bit temperamental at times, but once you get the air cap set right for starting, it will sit and run nicely. This engine will usually start with one or two kicks. This does have a little play in the crank bushings (as most do) that you can see when its running or if you grab the flywheel and shake it. This doesnt seem to affect the running at all. It looks like the kickstart pedal has been repaired at some point, and I think the pedal cover isnt quite mounted correctly. I have decided to leave this engine in its work clothes, as far as refreshing. You can choose wether youd like to restore it further or run it as it is. I own several of these Maytags in my collection, and they are a great hobby. This would look great at an engine show, or just have it to teach the grandkids about history! Fuller Johnson Model Hit Miss Gas Engine. Flywheels – 9 D x 3/4 W. Engine stands 11 1/2 tall on base (oiler not included in height measurement). Guessing the bore is about 2 without taking it apart to measure exactly. Runs great – I have a video of it running. Good condition, ready to go! I apologize for any inconvenience. Vintage Maytag Engine Model 92 Motor 193 5 Single Hit Miss Runs Great! Here is a nice original Maytag 92. I believe this one was made in 1935. Great compression and nice hot spark! It does have a brand new spark plug and wire. These Maytags can be a bit temperamental at times, but once you get the carb set right for starting, it will sit and run nicely. It looks like someone painted this years ago. You can choose wether youd like to restore it further. I own several of these Maytags in my collection, and they are a great hobby.
