This is an original International Harvester Type L low tension magneto for an old engine. It was factory equipment on the IHC Type M engines in the 1 1/2 and 3hp sizes. It was also used on the 1hp Famous/Titan and Titan Jr engines. It has some issues with the mounting base but I think with a little patience and creativity it would be a very nice magneto! The bearings have almost no noticeable wear and it turns over very smoothly with good magnetic pull. The magneto has an original gear on it for a 3hp Type M along with the dust shield which is a bit dented up but could easily be straightened and also has the original name band. The gear could be swapped out for the correct gear for your engine if you so choose. The magnets have just been charged and it puts out a good, hot, blue spark that will surely run an engine if it is set up properly. These original IHC Type L magnetos are getting tougher to find every day so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. This is an old 3hp International Harvester Type M gas engine. It has been in a collection for many years. It will need a full restoration and is missing some parts as you can see. The head has a repair on the rocker stand. The flywheels move but the engine is very dry and stiff. The mixer needles both turn. It would be a pretty straightforward project and M parts are quite readily available. If you need a winter project here one is. Here is a pretty decent old International Harvester 6hp Type M gas engine. It is a throttle governed engine. It is in decent condition and should be a pretty straightforward project. It is missing the fuel mixer and ignitor along with some smaller items like the throttle rod and linkage. It turns over nicely and has very little wear in the cylinder. The head has two old weld repairs on it that likely could be dressed down a bit. The fuel pump is broken and will need to be welded but the plunger moves as it should. It has the original IHC Type R magneto on it. The inside of the crankcase is good and greasy and the original gas tank appears to be quite solid and likely usable. With some elbow grease this should make a pretty good engine! It would be a fine addition to your early hit and miss engine collection or International Harvester lineup. The pictures tell the story. This is an extremely hard to find original unbroken or repaired cylinder head for a 6hp International Harvester Type M gas engine. It is part number HA 690 and is in great condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a new throttle shaft and plate in it. The valve is nice in it’s guide but it needs the exhaust valve and spring. The seats look decent but you may want to touch them up anyway. The spark plug threads and exhaust threads are in great shape. This head mounts on a 5 3/8 inch square bolt pattern. If you need a head for your engine because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here’s your chance at a very nice one. A large percentage of 6hp M’s have broken or repaired heads! This is a really nice original International Harvester Type R rotary magneto. It was factory equipment on the 6hp Type M engines with ignitor ignition. It was also standard equipment on the 1, 1 3/4, and 2 1/2hp Mogul engines. It was also optional equipment on the vertical Famous, and some of the horizontal Famous and Titan engines and some others. It is in excellent rebuilt condition! It has new bushings and helicoils in the mounting holes. It also has the original leadout and early style flip top oil caps. It turns over nice and smoothly with excellent magnetic pull and puts out a hot, fat, blue spark! It is ready to be put to use on an engine or put on the shelf for a spare! It’s one of the nicest R magnetos I’ve had in quite some time. They usually require several hundred dollars worth of repair work but all that is done already! The pictures tell the story.
